Meet Cass

Cass Erickson, Founder and Principal Grant Consultant at Writing for the Workplace LLC, has more than 20 years of experience as a professional writer and editor. She has a B.A. in Art History from The George Washington University and an M.L.I.S. in Library Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She is a member of the Grant Professionals Association, Minnesota Council of Nonprofits, Professional Editors Network, and Association of Art Editors. She is also a contributor to CharityChannel.

Cass has worked in higher education as a writer/editor in public relations, researcher, librarian, and fund-raiser for more than 20 years. She got her start in fund development working for a nonprofit that specialized in undergraduate research. Cass worked with faculty members (PIs) at colleges and universities across the country in the coordination of grant applications and was responsible for copyediting, proofreading, final accuracy check, and the submission of all grants to both foundations and federal agencies.
